Mike is a former police officer and fire fighter from Arkansas. He began storm spotting in 1988 and moved to Oklahoma in 1997.

He now actively chases and documents severe weather in Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas, Nebraska and Missouri.

Mike holds these credentials:
Technician Class Armature Radio Operator (KE5NXJ)
Certified Medical first Responder
Cetified in CPR
Cetified in Hazardous Material Identification and Containment,
OSHA Certified for Confined Space Rescue

Mike is married with 5 children, lives in Oklahoma City and drives semi for a large retail company from Oklahoma.
